All After-School Programs are held at Palmbrook Country Club in Sun City, Arizona.
Overview
Golf is the game of a lifetime, it can be continued to be played and enjoyed with family, friends, or business associates throughout life. Our after school programs teaches the fundamentals of golf to set up young students for a lifetime of success on the course and off the course.
Our mission at True North Golf School is to allow every child to experience and enjoy the game of golf by breaking down any barriers that may be in the way. Our golf school focuses on a relationship-based teaching model allowing students to continually get better with frequent instruction.
Our after-school instruction program focuses on the fundamentals. We teach the proper golf grip, stance, posture, and alignment and basics for a sound golf swing. We also create a sound practice environment allowing students to focus on the skills used in putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing.
In addition to physical skills, our program provides character-building traits with an emphasis on the rules and etiquette aspects of the game. Not only are our programs great for the beginning junior golfer, but they're also designed for advancement within the curriculum.
Our unique group setting encourages kids to be a part of a team in a fun social setting. We get them excited about the game and set them up to learn to play the game of a lifetime!
Junior After School Program:
True North Golf School's Junior After-School Program is designed for current, aspiring, or competitive young golfers up to 18 years of age who want to learn or improve their golf game in a fun educational manner. This program includes instruction on full-swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play as well as competitions, and on-course play. True North Golf School is focused on improving golf skills while enhancing the confidence and building the character of our junior golfers. Students train in groups of players with similar ages and abilities.
